RDA

Therapeutic riding sessions for children qualifying for RDA lessons.

RDA

The Riding for the Disabled Associaction is a charity that provides access to equestrian activities for those with physical and learning disabilities and autism. Here at the Pony Centre we have worked with the RDA for the past 35 years, and have a very strong and welcoming group.

Children's RDA lessons

We offer group RDA lessons for most of our children. This creates a community environment, time to make friends, and also for parents/carers to meet and chat with one another. Community is at the heart of all we do here at WSPC, creating a supporting and nurturing environment for our children and young people as well as their families and immediate circles.

Adult RDA lessons

We are able to offer a limited amount of RDA riding for adults. This is because most of our ponies are too small for adults. Our mechanical horse can carry more weight so can be an alternative option for some adult RDA riders. We also encourage stable management sessions, therapeutic groundwork, and volunteering. If you feel this would be of benefit to you and something you would like to explore do please get in touch using the enquiry form below.

Please note, we are currently at capacity for riding, but please register your interest using the form below and we will let you know as we gain availability.
